Classics never get old and for that reason, the beloved space heroes Ratchet & Clank are back with their adventure on PS3 in this great release which includes Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank 2: Locked & Loaded and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal.

The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy follows the original adventure from the brave duo Ratchet the Lombax – a mechanic and his sidekick sentient robot Clank as they must face evil forces such as Dr Nefarious, through the galaxy to save the universe.

The 3 games got pimped in a great way to make them work on your PS3 with better graphics, remastered audio and the possibility of playing them in 3D (if you have a 3D TV).

The highlight of the games is the combat modes and being able to purchase and upgrade weapons. Plus the trilogy of games keeps the simplicity which made Insomniac a famous video game company before their shooter hit Resistance including their unique comedy, co-op modes, solving puzzles, unlocking gadgets and ability to destroy everything around you.

Perhaps the only problem with this pack of games is getting use to the controls as they’re a bit basic for a PS3 and the fact that the game can be a bit repetitive after 5 hours of the first Ratchet & Clank.

Overall The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy is great classic games for all-ages at a great price!
…What else does a gamer need?

The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy is available now in Australia
