Expecto Patronum!…Early today, we saw a tweet from Neville Longbottom himself (Matthew Lewis) that he arrived in Sydney!, after the shocking news, we started to prepare our best spells to find some information about his visit to share with all the Potter fans around.
After a while we found out that he was here to promote Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 and Harry Potter: The Exhibition, which will open at the Powerhouse Museum on 19 November 2011.
We were very lucky today and we bumped into him in the city. He told us that he was really happy to be in Australia and to meet fans like us. Moreover, we shared some minutes talking to him with no rush at all.
The first thing we noticed was a South Sydney Rabbitohs Jersey on Lewis’ hands, so we asked him about it. He told us that he has some friends linked to the team and that he would love to see a Rabbitohs in action and catch up with Russell Crowe. He was very humble mentioning that he doesn’t consider himself a Hollywood superstar. Moreover, he briefly commented about his visit to South America at the end of 2010 to promote Deathly Hallows Part I, a trip he really enjoyed.
But that is not all, because Harry Potter fans will have the chance to see Matthew Lewis tomorrow. He will be at the Powerhouse Museum at 11am, for a preview of Harry Potter: The Exhibition. So get your broom ready and fly to the museum tomorrow morning to see one of the most beloved characters of the Harry Potter saga in real life!
If you are planing to go we wish you the best of luck!…and remember Spotlight Report is made by fans for fans! and obviously we will keep you posted about the latest news regarding Matthew Lewis in Sydney.
