DAPPLED CITIES TO PREVIEW NEW ALBUM AT FBi SOCIAL AND KINGS CROSS HOTEL OFFICIAL LAUNCH PARTY

Midnight Juggernaut DJ’s, Canyons and Andy Bull confirmed for launch party

The Kings Cross Hotel today announced the epic line-up for their official launch party, which will take place in partnership with FBi Social across four levels of the recently refurbished hotel.

Kicking off Friday 8^th April, the FREE launch party will showcase an eclectic mix of live music and DJ acts, from experimental pop to future beats and indie rock, reflecting the Hotel’s mission of becoming a late night dive bar that attracts a melting pot of Kings Cross locals and live music fans.

Brilliant Sydney art-rock band Dappled Cities are set to headline at the party, revealing today that they will (for the first time ever) preview songs from their upcoming 4th studio album, due out mid-year. This will be the first album from the band since 2009′s groundbreaking ‘Zounds’ project. The special preview gig will kick off from 8pm, preceding a killer night of live music across the Kings Cross Hotel’s amazing four levels.

Dappled Cities vocalist and guitarist, Tim, said: “We’re mega excited about FBi running a new venue in Sydney – almost as excited as we are about our new album. Like a new venue, our album is going to have many songs, all somewhat enjoyable if listened to when drunk, along with fashionably DIY explosions of colour and sound.”

Midnight Juggernaut DJ’s will be amongst the live acts set to headline at the free launch party, as well as electro favourites the Canyons, Melbourne dance act World End Press, and soul-pop favourite, Andy Bull.

The official launch party for FBi Social and the Kings Cross Hotel kicks off Friday 8^th April from 8pm. Entry is free.

Financial members of FBi will be offered a 10% discount on all drinks at FBi Social and throughout the Kings Cross Hotel.
