Finally the forst action images of Marc Webb‘s new Spider-Man, including Spiderman himself on the streets of LA are now online!
The Marc Webb’s reboot stars Andrew Garfield (Spiderman/Peter Parker), Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy), Rhys Ifans (Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard), Sally Field (Aunt May), Martin Sheen (Uncle Ben), Denis Leary (George Stacy), Chris Zylka (Flash Thompson), Irrfan Khan (Van Atter), Campbell Scott and Julianne Nicholson (Peter Parker’s parents) and C. Thomas Howell.
The movie, as far as we know, will be focused on the early days of Spiderman
Spiderman will be back to the big screen in 3D on July 3, 2012.

I haven’t been keeping up with this; didn’t realize the villain had already been picked! I’m interested in what direction the movies going to take and how it’ll be different from the Sam Raimi films. From the first picture of the costume I’m somewhat inclined to feel like they’re going the dark / gritty /realistic rout (like Batman, of course), but I’m not sure how that would work with Spiderman.
