Michelle Williams has been cast as Glinda, the Good Witch for Sam Raimi’s “Oz: The Great and Powerful”. Williams will be alongside James Franco(The wizard of Oz) and Mila Kunis as Theodora (Wicked Witch of the West).
Sam Raimi, will be working from a script made by Rabbit Hole’s writers Mitchell Kapner and David Lindsay-Abaire, with Joe Roth producing the film.
There os no official synopsis for the film yet, but as far as we know is a remake-prequel to The Wizard of Oz. The character of James Franco play a normal salesman who is transported to this magic land of Oz. There he joins to Glinda (the Good Witch) to fight against her evil sisters to avoid them to control the magic land.
