One of today’s most inspiring people, acclaimed actor and humanitarian Michael J.Fox (Back to the Future, Spin City, Family Ties, The Frighteners) is headed down under for the very first time!
The Visionary Series’ ”A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Future”, a spectacular one-night only event featuring Michael J.Fox, will be held at Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre on August 14.
Australian actor Shane Jacobson (”Charlie & Boots”, the upcoming ”The Bourne Legacy”) hosts the event, in which Fox talks about his illustrious career and ongoing battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Written and directed by Ignatius Jones, one of the world’s leading creative event directors, ”A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to the Future” is an all new live experience that’s been a year in the making. Accompanying Fox, who will tell of his career beginnings, the high-points, low-points and, of course, being diagnosed with Parkinson’s, is a lavish, spectacular production design and added exciting surprises. …Needless to say though, it’s Fox himself that will steal the show!
