Vodafone today delivered a surprise launch of the highly-anticipated Samsung GALAXY S III, which was available online from 11am and in store from midday, with double the usual data for the first 12 months.
To celebrate the launch of the Samsung GALAXY S III, Joel Madden from Good Charlotte and hit TV show The Voice made a surprise appearance at the Vodafone store on Pitt Street to present the hot new phone to Vodafone’s very first customer.
“I’ve only just got my hands on the new Samsung Galaxy S III and I’m already loving it”, Joel Madden commented. “The Best Photo feature is my favourite so far. I can’t wait to use it!”
Madden added, “It was also great fun at the Vodafone store and handing over the new Galaxy phone to the first customer.”
Christine Manalo from Mascot was the lucky first Vodafone customer to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S III.
“I can’t believe I am finally holding the Samsung GALAXY S III, the features on this phone are amazing and the offer from Vodafone of double data for the first 12 months is such a bonus,” Christine said. “Meeting Joel Madden was awesome and I got a photo with him which I can now use as a screen saver on my brand new phone.”
