The destruction of the Tohoku region by the earthquake was reported across the world. But what do we know of its history and cultural background?

The works of 10 renowned photographers from various generations and styles are shown in TOHOKU: Through the Eyes of Japanese Photographers and together represent the varied faces of Tohoku.
