Cirque Du Soleil will bring their classic Saltimbanco show to Australia in 2011, it was announced this morning.
Saltimbanco first appeared in Australia in 1999 and is back due to popular demand. The show, according to Cirque Du Soleil’s official website, “explores the urban experience in all its myriad forms: the people who live there, their idiosyncrasies and likenesses, families and groups, the hustle and bustle of the street and the towering heights of skyscrapers”.
The show will take place in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart, Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney and Wollongong, and runs from late April until August.
Tickets go on sale nationally on Monday October 18.
